How to Get Refunds in Fortnite

You can get V-Bucks, Fortnite’s currency, by spending real money. With V-Bucks you can then buy hundreds of different cosmetics in the in-game store, especially skins, back bling, emotes, weapons or items.

If you regret your purchase or want to return it, this is possible. You just have to fulfill some conditions. You must have purchased the item you wish to return less than thirty days ago and have a Refund Ticket for each return.

If you meet these two requirements, you can follow the steps to return items in Fortnite here:

1. Open Support & Refunds under Settings in the main menu.
2. In the menu that opens, click Return or Cancel Purchase.
3. Alternatively, you can also open Settings in the main menu.
4. Click the Account tab at the end of the top menu.
5. In the options that open, click Recent Purchases.

When you follow the steps above, you will see a list of all the items you have purchased in the last thirty days. In this list, find the item you want to return and click on Use Return Ticket. When you are sure of your decision, proceed to Confirm. That’s it! The value of the item you purchased will be directly credited to your account as V-Bucks.

Note that Level Up Quest Packs and items you send as gifts to your friends are not among the items you can return. You have no chance to get back the V-Bucks you spent on them.

How to Get Refund Tickets in Fortnite

If you search YouTube for how to get more Return Tickets, you will find a lot of videos asking you to try strange methods. You should be a little hesitant to try the methods that these videos recommend. The reason for this is that Epic Games has a very clear stance regarding the refund process.

Each Fortnite account can only have three Return Tickets. Except in very rare cases, this number does not increase or decrease. It is unlikely that there will be dozens of return tickets on one account.

According to Epic Games’ explanation on its official blog, one Return Ticket is added to each account every 365 days. So, this is the only legal way to get additional tickets for your account.
