How to get Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite
You can get Flexwood from cutting down cacti in the Dry Valley desert biome. Simply head to your closest desert, take your pick of any cactus, and chop it down to receive a bunch of Flexwood. To get Flexwood, however, you’ll need to get yourself a Rare Forest Axe or better.
Alex’s Advice
It can take quite a few swings of your axe to cut down a cactus, so if your axe is low on durability, be sure to repair it before you go looking for Flexwood.
To craft a Rare Forest Axe, you need to get 5x Cut Amber and 3x Knotroot Rods. Cut Amber can be received by processing Rough Amber in a Gem Cutter, while Knotrood Rods can simply be made by placing Knotroot in a Lumber Mill.
What is Flexwood used for in LEGO Fortnite?
Flexwood is a material used in many later-game crafting recipes in LEGO Fortnite. The most important of these recipes is as an ingredient to upgrade your village to levels 9 and 10, requiring Flexwood and Flexwood Rods respectively.
As well as this, you can use the refined Flexwood Rods to build plenty of powerful items such as the Rare Pickaxe or Rare Recurve Crossbow, making it one of the best materials you can get at this point in the game.
