Gather wood and use it at the Lumber Mill to create planks in LEGO Fortnite. It’s among the first resources you can get so it shouldn’t be a hassle. If you’ve just started the game, we’ve got a list of steps for you to follow. Here’s how to craft plans in LEGO Fortnite:
- Gather Wood. This can be done without an axe just by collecting it from fallen logs and branches. You’ll need a good amount of it to build the Lumber Mill too.
- Build the Lumber Mill with 8 Wood and 15 Granite. Look around and you’ll find rocks in the grassland biome that you’ll usually start in. These can be picked up for Granite.
- If you’ve completed a few quests from Brite Bomber (the NPC that shows up in the beginning), you should already have the Lumber Mill recipe.
- Build the Lumber Mill and you’ll get three recipes: Plank, Wooden Rod, and Flexwood Rod.
- Pick the Plank option and you’ll be able to use Wood to craft it.
You need better tools to harvest rare resources
While you don’t need tools for planks, you’ll eventually need them for materials like Flexwood and Malachite.
