One thing that’s a sure fire thing in trading card games is that collectors and secondary markets have a massive impact on the price of rare and powerful cards. Disney Lorcana is the newest addition to the trading card game world, and even though it just released, it’s feeling the effects of those markets. Today we’re going to look at the 12 most expensive Disney Lorcana cards from The First Chapter.

We’re not going to include any of the D23 promotional cards in this list. Even though they are all cards from The First Chapter, they were a separately released product. But fear not, not all the cards in the game are as expensive as the ones on this list. In fact, more than 95% of the cards in the game are significantly cheaper than what we’ll see here.

Hopefully these won’t be the most expensive for long, or least maybe the prices will come down, because there may be a Disney Lorcana reprint cycle on its way. If you’re looking to build your own Disney Lorcana deck, but aren’t sure where to start, then take a look at our guide on how to build a Disney Lorcana deck. With that, let’s get started.

Honorable Mention – Rapunzel – Gifted with Healing

Our honorable mention card goes to Rapunzel – Gifted with Healing. This card is the most expensive non-enchanted card at the moment and for good reason. When she is played, she can heal up to three damage from one of your characters. Then you get to draw a card for each damage you healed this way. That’s a very powerful effect, and only for four ink to play. She costs around $61 on the open market, and her foil is up around $90.

12. Genie – On the Job (Enchanted)

Our first card on the list is Genie – On the Job (Enchanted). Genie is quite the card. First off, he’s an evasive character, which makes him harder to challenge. Secondly, he returns a character to its owner’s hand, which can help stall out a powerful character from questing. As we’ll see with the rest of the list, a lot of the price of this card is due its Enchanted rarity. This card’s market value is just north of $200, while the normal version costs around $5.

11. Mickey Mouse – Artful Rogue (Enchanted)

The next card we have on the list is Mickey Mouse – Artful Rogue (Enchanted) .This card is quite strong, as it allows you to stall out your opponent’s characters from questing for simply playing an action. It also gives you an ink discount to play it if you already have a Mickey Mouse in play. This version fetches a hefty $207 market value, despite only being a $2 card normally.

10. Aladdin – Heroic Outlaw (Enchanted)

Cracking into the top 10 is Aladdin – Heroic Outlaw (Enchanted). Aladdin – Heroic Outlaw has shift, like Mickey Mouse – Artful Rogue, allowing you to play him for cheaper if you already have an Aladdin in play. But where Mickey Mouse was a control tactic, Aladdin is all about damage. He will swing the game four total lore points when he banishes a creature. Even though his normal version is only $4.25, his enchanted version is a whopping $218.

9. Maui – Hero to All (Enchanted)

Say you’re welcome to number 9 on our list, we have Maui – Hero to All (Enchanted). Maui and Aladdin would be best friends, because Maui is also all about challenging. He can challenge the turn he comes into play, and he cannot quest. In fact, he must challenge a character each turn if possible. This Demigod of Wind and Sea commands a roughly $220 market price, but his normal version can be picked up for about $7.

8. Hades – King of Olympus (Enchanted)

Number 8 on our list is Hades – King of Olympus (Enchanted). This Hades is a closer for the Villain decks in the game. He gains an additional lore value for each other Villain you have in play. He also has a beefy stat line to be able to stick around for a turn, and in the right situations can simply end the game outright. This glorious deity can be found for around $223, but for the budget Villains out there, his normal version is only about $1.

7. Simba – Returned King (Enchanted)

All hail the King, Simba – Returned King (Enchanted) comes in at number 7. Simba is a very powerful challenger, as he gains four Strength when he challenges another character. On top of that, he also gains Evasive on your turn, allowing him to take down any opposing threat. The enchanted version of this card goes for about $227, but the normal version, which comes in the starter deck, costs less than $1.

6. Stitch – Carefree Surfer (Enchanted)

A collection of Disney Lorcana cards featuring a variety of characters, including some of the most expensive ones.

Number 6 on the list is Stitch – Carefree Surfer (Enchanted). This version of Stitch is quite amazing. If you have two other characters in play when he lands, you can draw two cards. It might seem like a simple ability, but card advantage is card advantage. On top of that, he has a lot of will power, so he’ll take some serious resources to get rid of. The enchanted version of Stitch goes for a little more than $250. His normal version isn’t super cheap by comparison to some of the other cards before him on this list, which is priced around $25.

5. Aurora, Dreaming Guardian (Enchanted)

Next up, we have Aurora – Dreaming Guardian (Enchanted). Like the other cards with Shift, you can play this for a discount if you have another Aurora in play. She’s a must answer defensive card, as she gives all of your other characters Ward, meaning they can’t be chosen by actions or abilities. They can only be challenged. If you play Aurora in the early game before your opponent has a lot of resources to remove her, you can often find yourself with a great board and an early Lore lead. Her enchanted version is going to run you a cool $275. Her normal version is available in the starter deck but is individually about $3.25.

4. Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy (Enchanted)

Number 4 on our most expensive Disney Lorcana cards list is Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy (Enchanted). Once again, this Tink has Shift, and a pair of game winning abilities to boot. Firstly, she’ll deal one damage to each opposing character when she comes into play. Then whenever she banishes a character, she’ll deal two more damage to another opposing character. Tinker Bell can very quickly become a board wipe against the right deck, putting you in a potentially unstoppable position. The Enchanted version will set you back about $290, and her normal version, almost $30.

3. Belle – Strange but Special (Enchanted)

The bronze medal spot on our list goes to Belle – Strange but Special (Enchanted) which clocks in at a $293 market price tag. In the early game, Belle is a ramp character, allowing you to put more ink into your inkwell each turn. In the late game, she’s a questing machine, gaining four Lore points if you have 10 or more cards in your inkwell. She’s very powerful and it shows because even her normal version costs around $40.

2. Mickey Mouse – Wayward Sorcerer (Enchanted)

Number 2 goes to Mickey Mouse – Wayward Sorcerer (Enchanted). This version of the boss Mouse is simply a means of pumping out a bunch of Broom characters, and keeping a healthy supply of them in your hand. He can also quest for a couple Lore points in the midgame. At the moment, there’s only one Broom character card in the game, but if more come in the future, we may have a deck on our hands. His Enchanted price tag probably comes from the fact that he’s THE Mickey Mouse, which is about $330. He does come in one of the starter decks, but the single of his normal version is about $3.

1. Elsa – Spirit of Winter (Enchanted)

Picture of Elsa - Spirit of Winter from Disney Lorcana
A pair of the most expensive Disney Lorcana cards featuring two different characters.

We’ve reached the end of the list, and our top spot goes to Elsa – Spirit of Winter (Enchanted). In typical Elsa fashion, when she enters play, she puts two opposing characters on ice, exerting them and keeping them exerted on your opponent’s next turn. She also has Shift, which is a common theme for some of the more powerful cards in the game that we’ve seen. She can also quest for three lore points which is a nice bonus. This card is the most expensive Enchanted card, at an insane $735 price tag, and her normal version is also expensive coming in at around $45.

And that’s our list! It stands to reason that the Enchanted versions of cards would be the most expensive. Since they only have a chance of showing up in booster packs in the foil slot, these cards are hard to come by.
