Today’s Fortnite update brought a lot of new content. Considering it’s the second major update of Chapter 5 Season 2, this comes as no surprise. Epic Games has changed a couple of things in each mode, which is why we’ve prepared Fortnite patch notes for you.

What did today’s Fortnite update bring?

Fortnite Battle Royale patch notes

  • Added new Mythic items
    • Waterbending, Firebending, Earthbending
  • Added new chests for the Avatar collaboration
  • Map changes
    • The iceberg is now in its final stage
    • The yacht left the island
  • Many new cosmetics, including four new Avatar characters
  • Numerous bug fixes, including the fix for Hades’ final style
  • Removed Item Shop rarities

LEGO Fortnite patch notes

  • Many skins received new LEGO styles

Rocket Racing updates

  • New Rocket Racing season is here
  • Five new race tracks added
  • Everyone’s rank has been reset
  • New free quest rewards added
  • First Rocket Racing starter pack coming on April 11
  • Werewolf added to the game mode
    • This car will be given for free to those who already own it in Rocket League
  • New matchmaking and ranked changes
  • Speed Run leaderboards
  • Numerous bug fixes

Fortnite Festival changes

  • Added new instruments and Jam Tracks

So far, these patch notes come from Fortnite data miners, as the update came out around 4 AM Eastern Time. However, Epic Games may soon release more information, including weapon balance changes, gameplay tweaks, and more. If necessary, we will update our patch notes throughout the day.
