If you’re here, you’re probably wondering when is the next Helldivers 2 patch? Helldivers 2 has proven very popular so far, with the PlayStation exclusive already one of the biggest PlayStation published PC games on Steam ever since it launched earlier this week.
However, that’s not to say the game has been without its issues – as the game’s surge in popularity has caused it to almost become a little of a victim of its own success. Players have reported several technical issues, particularly when it comes to Quickplay and playing online with friends and some major crashes with specific video cards. That’s as well as the server capacity issues that Arrowhead is continuing to work on.
Luckily, it seems the team at Arrowhead are aware of such issues, and they have already been diligently at work fixing up as much as they can. But when can players expect these fixes to manifest as patches? We’ll try and answer that for you here based on the information we have.
When is the next Helldivers 2 patch?
Today saw a new patch released. Arrowhead CEO dropped an update on X that detailed a patch they were actively releasing. This was designed to help with matchmaking and server loads. That has been an issue in the game’s earliest stage. There are also likely to be more updates released sooner rather than later.
In fact, it seems as though there’ll be “continuous improvements over the days and weeks to come” – and we expect updates from February 19th to the 23rd. The developers have done an excellent job at frequently updating the game since its launch.
In terms of potential new features, Arrowhead has also been working on Mechs – and according to a message posted from the game’s official Discord from a developer, could arrive soon. “Mechs been good to go for a while, there’s still some additional polishing being done by people who can’t assist with server issues.”

New Helldivers 2 patch is out on PS5 and PC
While this is not a huge update, it is a patch that will help. The last major update occurred on February 16th. It’s 01.07 for PS5 and PC, and below are the very minimal patch notes:
