Flexwood is one of the main three wooden materials available in LEGO Fortnite. Flexwood is an important piece of crafting material as it is a key resource used in upgrading your tools and equipment to higher rarities. Flexwood is one of the harder wooden materials to obtain in LEGO Fortnite as it needs a lot of prep work.

Acquire

Flexwood has two ways to acquire it. Found inside of chests that spawn randomly in the overworld and in caves. Collected from destroying cacti inside of the desert biomes with a rare or better forest axe.

Location

Flexwood only spawns inside of desert biomes which can be hard to find. There are no indicators of where a desert may be, but building a tower to get a bird’s eye view can help you spot a desert biome. Since you always spawn in a Grassland biome, you will have to travel to find a desert biome.

The cacti inside of desert biomes will drop Flexwood and act as the trees of the biome. They spawn randomly and frequently inside of desert biomes.

Uses

Flexwood is primarily used for upgrades to your village and for Flexwood Rods which are needed to craft higher tier weapons. Raw Flexwood does not have many uses, as most objects that use Flexwood require Flexwood Rods instead. Flexwood is frequently a material required for building vehicles.

Item Description

A dry wood found in the Dry Valley. Sun-baked timber.

Equipment

To mine Flexwood from cacti you need a Forest Axe of a rare or better rarity. This needs Cut Amber and Knotroot Rods to craft. You cannot deal damage to cacti that drop Flexwood without the rare or better Forest Axe.
